The Hair Clip — Motra x Les Solides
Some pieces don’t try to stand out
they simply belong.
This collaboration began as a quiet conversation between women
about connection, care, and what it means to create something that lasts.
Together with les solides, we designed a hair clip that holds more than hair.
It holds a feeling of unity, of sisterhood,
of women showing up for each other in subtle, powerful ways.
The form is minimal, intentional.
Pure lines, grounded material, timeless shape.
Strong enough to hold, soft enough to blend in
a reflection of balance.
We called it ERA — meaning wind in Albanian —
a word that holds what we wanted to create:
something pure, real, and honest - free like the wind.
A reminder that strength can look gentle.
That we are all part of something shared
woven together, held with care.
A piece made to stay timeless, seasonless.
One of those pieces that slowly form a story
a collective built on care, balance, and quiet strength.
material: white brass lenght: 85 mm, width : 75 mm, pin lenght: 13 mm, 78 ,-
A sculptural piece where form and pin become one - the form holds the hair, the pin holds the form.
Inspired by Barbara Hepworth's dialogue between matter and space, it's a quiet reminder that what we hold also holds us. Made of white brass
